Dances

"Dances" are what you use to move your character during songs when hitting notes, these can be obtained through the "Dance Lessons", which is where Dummy is found.

You can roll in the Dance Lessons once for 200 Cheddar and 10 times at once for 2000 Cheddar

Dances List

Here's a list of all current obtainable Dances in RAT!

Note: The way the Insta-Dance and Card chances are calculated is by taking into account the odds of the rarity pool the dance belongs to being chosen, then relative to the amount of dances in that pool, how rare it would be for that single dance to be obtained, then there is a 95% chance that instead of the dance, 2-4 cards for it are given instead, leaving a 5% chance for the dance to be rolled. There is also a "Weight" value that takes part in making RAT! Beta rarer than other Commons, and Legendaries rarer than Sweets, as they share the same pool.

When trading up, it is guaranteed to obtain a card/dance from the pool above the pool the card belongs to, in the case of trading up Sweet cards, there is a special Legendary-Only pool it chooses from (as normally Sweets and Legendaries share a pool).

Legendary chances are directly proportional to Sweet chances, meaning the more Sweet dances that exist, the rarer Legendaries become.

So, in theory, there is a 1/20 chance you get ANY dance from a roll.

Trivia

  • Some dances like Distorted Dragon and the Come Along With Me dances were added to the Dance Lessons in a future update after being exclusive to their BGA
  • It is possible to obtain dances directly from trading up Cards, although quite rare.
  • RAT! Beta is the only dance to have different chances from the other dances with the same rarity.
  • RAT! Beta was also the very first dance to be added into the game.
  • Unlike Icons, Pets and Noteskins, dances highest rarity is Legendary.
  • In older versions, it was possible to "Trade Up" Legendary cards, but due to having nothing above Legendary, nothing would happen and they would be refunded.
  • When the player is using the "Most Awesome RAT Animation" and "It's Learnin' Time" Dances on Bloodlust and Bloodlust Instrumental Mix, the player on the left side will instead use the old Chester Ghost sprite that normally appears in Solo Play.
  • When the player is using the "#1 Furry Hater" Dance on Manual Blast, the player on the left side will end up with a visual bug for the "Scorched" model due to the transformation event triggering a player Fail State in order to transform the player, which in turn, causes the Dances unique fail animation to trigger and give the player scaled avatar parts from the Dances various Fail transformations.
(Note: Avatar parts on the head most likely will not be seen as the "Censor" on the "Scorched" model covers up the head, while the player's head is actually scaled down much smaller than the "Censor" itself.)
